Looking forward to pairing our Green Bush Rat Snakes

Looking forward to pairing our Green Bush Rat Snakes (Gonyosoma prasinum) together for the first time this winter. This will be a first for us since we’ve never attempted to produce any of the Gonyosoma before. These guys are beautiful little Asian rat snakes, easy to care for and are an inquisitive species.

We love how these Green Bush Rat Snakes (Gonyosoma prasinum) can look so badass at times. Those blue eyes just stare you down!. At the same token, we find them more tolerant of handling compared to Red-tailed Green Rats (Gonyosoma oxycephalum).

One of our Green Bush Rat Snakes (Gonyosoma prasinum). Our G. prasinum need another year before we may attempt to breed them and we’re really looking forward to it. These beautiful little green snakes are easy to keep, highly active, and always a pleasure to watch.
