A young male Super Hypo Nicaraguan Boa

Super Hypo Nicaraguan Boa (Boa constrictor imperator).  Pictured is our young male that was produced in 2018 from a Hypo Nicaraguan to Hypo Nicaraguan pairing. We can’t wait to see this guy all grown up with the reduced melanin and super orange tail! 💕🐍

This is our young Hypo Leopard Central American Boas (Boa constrictor imperator). We only work with a handful of Boa Morphs including Hypo Leopards and Hypo Nicaraguans, but we find the Hypo “Leo’s” to be very attractive snakes.

The Centrals are especially nice because they’re generally smaller, and often have darker coloration. In our opinion, the darker animals are what makes them stand out more than other localities.

In a few years this handsome male will be paired up with a very busy patterned Leopard female. It will be fun to see the results as neonates can be highly variable in pattern. Some of the Leopard Boas can be nearly stripped in pattern, while others are very busy. Some animals end up being a mx of both. When it comes to Leopard Boas it really comes down to the individual preference, and what catches your eye. 🐍😊💕#BoaConstrictor #BoaConstrictorImperator

There’s nothing like a Nicaraguan boa…

There’s nothing like a Nicaraguan Boa! This little guy is one of our Nicaraguan Boas (Boa constrictor imperator). We love the Central boas, especially the darker animals. This awesome little male was produced by Dave Forbes at Imperial Boids.

This normal colored animal was the result of a Hypo to Hypo Nicaraguan pairing. Dave produced Normal Hypo, and Super Hypo boas from the litter. We ended up packing up both a Super Hypo and Normal from this litter. If you’re into locality boas, and like the small size, color or Hypo boas, Nicaraguans are a great choice.

We’re been working with Nicaraguan and Hypo Nicaraguan Boas on and off since the early 2000’s.  Nicaraguan’s have always been one of our favorites. The small size, generally friendly demeanor and beautiful pattern (especially the dark animals) has always been of interest.
