For our Friday post we have a handsome young Bolivian Boa
For our Friday post we have a handsome young Bolivian Boa (Boa constrictor amarali). We produced this little guy a few years ago. He was held back because of his light colour and beautiful big peaks.
Another year and he should be old enough to sire his own litter. 🐍
Our Bolivian Boas (Boa constrictor amarali) are still actively breeding this time of year. Our animals usually breed late in the season, typically wrapping up (pun intended) around the end of April. 🐍😋
Throwback Thursday a Bolivian Boa (Boa constrictor amarali) we produced back in 2018. Here’s hoping we’ll have another litter this year from the same pairing. 🐍
A few pictures of some Bolivian Boas (Boa constrictor amarali) that we produced back in 2017. These Bolivian Boa pictures show the variation in color among the neonates was amazing. Who would think these grey little babies can have pinks, silvers, and greys. Bolivians have always been our favorite of the boas.
Last year we paired our Bolivians, though were unsuccessful at producing a litter. We’re hoping for another litter this season, with our oldest and largest female paired up with our silver male.
